German Government wants to sell the property at the fairgrounds Charlottenburg

The state of Berlin separates from one of the last vacant lots on the fairgrounds in Charlottenburg. Appears from a statement widespreaded by Liegenschaftsfonds Berlin, which is currently used as a parking lot 5899 square meter area to the International Congress Center (ICC), the area will be sold in an "unconditional bidding procedure".

Interested parties have time up to 31 March next year to submit their bids. Also exhibition-related uses such as offices and hotel spa, entertainment and leisure activities are possible. Though there are many hotels in Berlin, there's a lack of of accommodation offers in direct proximity to the exhibition", says Lippmann. The only hostel in the area is currently the Ibis hotel on Messedamm in corner with Masurenallee.
